It’s only been one term, but Ward 36 (Scarborough Southwest) has been under the hold of Rob Ford fanatic Gary Crawford long enough (with all due respect to Mr. Crawford’s support of enhancing Toronto’s presence as a music centre).

But as is the theme in 2014, it needs to be out with the Ford, in with the new: Masihullah Mohebzada, a true youth candidate, is an informed, insightful, and passionate Ward 36 resident who I’ve been lucky to meet on a number of occasions during this campaign.

Mr. Mohebzada’s platform tackles challenging issues surrounding transit, community housing, child care, seniors, and protecting the waterfront.
